OUR QUARRIES
Turkey has a significant reserve of the world's marble reserves. Turkish marble, which is among the country's rich natural resources, is exported to seven continents. As evidenced by the importance and position of Turkish marble, Turkey is a global player in the marble industry. ADK Marble, established in Istanbul in 2003 with the aim of trading marble, later made quarry and factory investments and began to be recognized as a leading supplier in the marble sector.
ADK Marble initially operated a travertine quarry in the Mut district of Mersin and, in 2009, began operating and acquired the naming rights to the beige quarry known as 'Empire Beige' internationally and 'Ottoman Beige' in our country. In 2019, ADK Marble strengthened its position with strategic investments and started operating a new quarry. The Burdur Beige Quarry, located in the Yeşilova district of Burdur, was chosen as an investment due to its alignment with market demands and the latest trends in the marble sector, and it continues to serve our customers with an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons.
We would like to emphasize that protecting our natural resources and respecting the environment are of importance to our company. As a company responsible towards the environment, we have adopted the principle of making conscious decisions regarding the policies we follow while conducting our activities. Besides contributing to the national economy through exports and providing employment, ADK Marble aims to ensure the sustainable use of natural resources and to safely pass them on to future generations with its principle of environmental sensitivity.
